What CTRthumbs collects, why, who it's shared with and how long it's kept. We keep it to what's needed to make your images.
1. What we collect
- What you type: your prompts, the names of your chats and Custom models, and the words you put on your images.
- Images you add: references (uploads, thumbnails picked on Discover, or your own images) and screenshots for Custom models.
- What CTRthumbs makes: your images, icons and model sheets, with the settings and layers used to make them.
- Your Roblox username, if you add your avatar. We use it to get your public avatar image from Roblox and keep a copy so we can draw you. We never ask for or see your Roblox password.
- Your settings (like style and main character) are saved in your browser, not on our servers.
- Your account: when you sign in with Google or Discord, they share your name, email address and profile image with us, and nothing else (no contacts, messages or passwords). When you sign in with an email link, we keep your email address. We use these only to create your account, sign you in and show who's signed in, and we keep them in our own database. A cookie keeps you signed in.
- Payments (when they launch): limited payment records (like the amount and a payment reference) from our payment processor. We never see your full card number.
- Basic technical data: standard request details, like your IP address, logged by our hosting for security and to stop abuse.
- Copyright complaints and counter-notices you send us, with the contact details in them, to handle them.
- Support reports you send from the Support page, with your account's name and email so we can reply.
We don't use advertising trackers and don't follow you across other websites, so a browser's “Do Not Track” setting doesn't change anything here.
2. How we use it
- to make the images you ask for and keep your chats and Library there when you come back;
- to run credits and plans;
- to stop abuse, and to fix problems you tell us about.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your uploads or images to train AI models.
3. Who we share it with
- AI services that plan and draw your images: they receive your prompt and the images needed to make each image (your references, avatar image and Custom models).
- Hosting and storage providers that run CTRthumbs.
- Google or Discord, only if you choose to sign in with them: they tell us who you are. We don't send them anything about your images.
- Our email service, which sends your sign-in links and brings your support reports to us.
- Our payment processor, when you buy a plan or credits.
- The other side of a copyright complaint: we pass a complaint on to the person whose material it's about, and a counter-notice back to whoever sent the complaint, as copyright law expects.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
- A new owner, if CTRthumbs is ever sold or merged.
These providers may only use your information to do their job for CTRthumbs.
4. Roblox
CTRthumbs only uses Roblox's public information: public avatar images, and game thumbnails and details from Roblox's public charts for Discover. It never signs in to your Roblox account or reads your games.
5. How long we keep it
Your account, chats, images, uploads and Custom models are kept so your history is there when you come back. Removing a chat keeps its images in your Library, and removing a Custom model deletes it. References you add but never make an image from, and the screenshots of removed Custom models, are deleted after 7 days. You can ask us to delete your account and everything we hold about you, except records the law makes us keep, like payment records.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including California), you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to get a copy, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Email contact@ctrthumbs.com to make a request.
7. Children
CTRthumbs is for people 13 and older, and anyone under 18 should use it with a parent or guardian's permission. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we delete it if we find out we have.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information while it's sent and stored, but no website can promise perfect security.
9. Where it's processed
Our servers and the services we use may be in other countries than yours, so your information may be processed there.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using CTRthumbs after a change means you accept the new policy.
