Terms of Service
Last updated: October 17, 2026
These are the rules for using CTRthumbs. By using CTRthumbs you agree to them, so please read them. They're short.
1. Who can use CTRthumbs
CTRthumbs makes thumbnails, icons and badges for Roblox games. You need to be at least 13 to use it. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use it and to buy anything.
If you have an account, you're responsible for everything done with it, so keep your sign-in to yourself.
2. Using it fairly
Don't use CTRthumbs to:
- make anything illegal, hateful, sexual, or meant to deceive, bully or harm someone, including other players;
- run bots or scripts against it, or make images in bulk outside normal use of the app;
- get around credit limits, free offers or any other limit;
- resell access to it, or copy or take apart how CTRthumbs works;
- attack its security or upload anything harmful, like malware.
3. What you upload is your responsibility
You can upload images as references and screenshots for Custom models. Only upload images you're allowed to use. You're responsible for what you upload and for how you use what CTRthumbs makes from it.
Custom models: only add characters, pets and items from your own game, or ones you have permission to use. Don't add another game's characters, or any brand, celebrity or real person.
4. References
“Use as Reference” takes a thumbnail's design (layout, camera, colors and kind of scene) and makes a new image for your game. It never copies the reference's characters, logos or words, and you shouldn't ask it to: don't use CTRthumbs to copy someone else's thumbnail or to use another game's characters, logos or name without permission.
5. Your images
You can use the images you make with CTRthumbs for your games, including commercially: on Roblox, in ads and on social media. We don't claim ownership of them. We keep all rights to CTRthumbs itself: the website, its name and branding, and the software behind it.
Images are made by AI, and similar requests can lead to similar images for different people, so we can't promise an image is one of a kind. Check every image before you publish it.
6. Roblox
CTRthumbs is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation.
When you use images from CTRthumbs on Roblox, you're responsible for following Roblox's Terms of Use and Community Standards. We aren't responsible for anything Roblox does with your account or your game.
7. Discover
Discover shows thumbnails from Roblox's public charts so you can find a reference. Those thumbnails belong to their games' creators. They're shown for browsing and as references only, and can't be downloaded from CTRthumbs.
8. Copyright complaints
If you believe something on CTRthumbs infringes your copyright, like a thumbnail shown in Discover or an image someone made or uploaded, email contact@ctrthumbs.com with:
- the work you own, or a link to it;
- where it is on CTRthumbs, so we can find it;
- your name, postal address, phone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't allowed by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you're the copyright owner or allowed to act for them;
- your physical or electronic signature.
If a complaint is valid, we quickly remove the image, upload or Custom model it's about (or stop showing that thumbnail in Discover) and tell the person who added it.
If something of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with: what was removed and where it was; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; a statement that you agree to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the USA, any court where CTRthumbs can be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the complaint; and your signature. We pass it on to that person and put the material back 10 to 14 business days later, unless they tell us first that they've gone to court.
If someone keeps adding other people's work after complaints, we close their account.
9. Credits, plans and refunds
Making images uses credits, and the app shows how many before you make one. Unused credits stay on your account and roll over from month to month. Credits have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money. The details of plans and credit packs are shown when you buy them.
All purchases are final: we don't give refunds for plans or credit packs, except where the law requires one.
10. AI services
CTRthumbs uses third-party AI services to plan and draw images. The words and images you give CTRthumbs are sent to them to make your images. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is handled.
11. Suspending accounts
You can stop using CTRthumbs at any time. We may suspend or close an account, with or without notice, if it breaks these terms, abuses CTRthumbs or puts other people or us at risk.
12. No guarantees
CTRthumbs is provided as it is. We work hard on it, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, that every image will be what you wanted, or that an image will win clicks. We may change, add or remove features.
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses from using CTRthumbs, such as lost revenue, lost data or harm to your game.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using CTRthumbs after a change means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute we can't settle together goes to the state or federal courts in California.
